inDrive: Transforming Mobility in Nigeria, Expanding to 15 New Cities

In an exciting announcement made during the Lagos Startup Week, mobility firm inDrive revealed its ambitious plans for expansion. The ride-hailing service, which has already established a strong presence in Lagos, Abuja, and Ibadan, is now set to expand its operations to 15 additional cities across Nigeria. The new cities that will soon benefit from inDrive's services include Kano, Kaduna, Benin City, Nnewi, Aba, Onitsha, Jos, Enugu, Warri, Abeokuta, Akure, Owerri, Calabar, Ado Ekiti, and Uyo.


Timothy Oladimeji, the Business Development Representative of inDrive (Nigeria), expressed the company's enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, "We are launching in 15 more cities apart from the four cities we are currently operating in, which are Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, and Port Harcourt. We are launching in more cities, including Kano, Kaduna, Jos, Abeokuta, and more. We are launching in these cities because we have been able to deliver the fairness and justice that we have promised so far."


One of the key differentiators for inDrive is its commitment to fairness and social responsibility. The company charges only a 10 per cent service fee, which includes VAT. This approach sets inDrive apart from its competitors and ensures a fairer distribution of earnings for drivers, fostering a more equitable ecosystem.


The expansion comes as good news for residents in the new cities, as they can now access reliable and affordable ride-hailing services, bringing convenience and accessibility to their daily commute. In addition to the ride-hailing service, inDrive has also introduced a new offering, inDrive.Freight. This solution caters to the needs of commercial businesses, SMEs, and private individuals by providing a same-day delivery service for freight weighing from 20kg to 20tn. Customers can choose from various delivery options and a wide range of vehicles for city deliveries.


With this expansion, inDrive aims to revolutionize mobility and delivery services in Nigeria, making it easier for people to move around cities and businesses to transport goods efficiently. The company's commitment to fairness, affordability, and social responsibility sets it apart as a leader in the industry, paving the way for future growth and continued success.
