DSS Confirms Charges Against Suspended CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele

The Department of State Services (DSS) has announced that the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, has been charged to court. This development comes after an Abuja High Court ordered the DSS to either release Emefiele or bring him before a court of law. In a statement issued by DSS spokesperson Peter Afunanya, the agency provided further clarification on the arrest and charges leveled against Emefiele.
